The poems in this book were written over many decades, beginning with a number of them being written while in High School, back in the forties. Even while in the Navy, serving in the Korean Campaign, events arose which needed to be recorded. After College, I spent a few years as in instructor at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, then it was on to being a Technical Writer for a Houston company’s Engineering Department. I finally found my place as an Advertising and Public Relations person, where I edited the External Quarterly Magazine and lastly as Director of the Division of Institutional Services for the University of Texas Medical Branch.  It is during this period and after retirement that a bulk of the poems in this book were written. I now reside in Galveston, Texas, where I take my inspiration from my God, my wife, the beach, and the sea.
